Staffordshire-based TMT First is leading the tech repair revolution. Its award-winning Mobile Component Repair (MCR) technique replaces only the failed part within a phone, rather than entire assemblies – dramatically reducing electronic waste, carbon emissions and repair costs by up to 30%.

From its 43,000 sq ft facility in Newcastle-under-Lyme, its 160-strong team processes over 250,000 devices annually for major brands including Samsung, Apple and Microsoft. The company also buys, refurbishes and resells used and repaired technology, giving devices a second life.

TMT First’s vision extends beyond device repair. With a pioneering apprenticeship programme it developed in-house, it’s helping to train the next generation of skilled technicians, while making real progress toward a circular, low-carbon future.
