Award Recipients

tier1, the UK’s number one circular economy lifecycle services business, is honoured to have received the distinguished King’s Award for Enterprise: Promoting Opportunity 2024.

This recognition celebratestier1’s innovative prison recycling program, a collaborative effort with ANTZ UK, which has not only significantly contributed to environmental sustainability but also facilitated the successful reintegration of prisoners into society.

Building on the foundation laid by its Queen’s Award in 2019, this recent accolade underscores the substantial growth of this program and hints at even greater achievements on the horizon.

Jonathan Rose, founder of tier1, expressed gratitude and emphasised the collaborative effort behind the initiative. He says: “We are honoured to receive this prestigious award, which acknowledges the transformative impact of our partnership with ANTZ UK in promoting opportunity and sustainability. This accomplishment stands as a tribute to the unwavering commitment and relentless efforts of all those engaged in this remarkable endeavour.
