Award Recipients

Teagle Machinery, a family business based in Cornwall, has been manufacturing agricultural machinery for over 80 years and is honoured to be recognised with a King’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade.

Teagle’s market leading Tomahawk range of bale processors are found in livestock husbandry, bioenergy and erosion control applications.

This award highlights exceptional growth over the last three years in key overseas markets such as France, Ireland, the US and Germany, with recent expansions into India, Thailand, Vietnam, Chile and China. Export sales now represent over 50% of total revenue, with Tomahawk Bale Processors in operation in over 120 countries.

Managing Director, Tom Teagle, says: “Design innovation and a focus on manufacturing quality products is accelerated by increasing our export footprint. Our product experience has rapidly broadened, and first class after-sales support becomes non-negotiable. I am incredibly proud of our team and the success we’ve achieved, which illustrates the vital role small businesses can contribute to the reputation of UK manufacturing.”
