Winners Of
- 2025 International Trade
Londonist DMC is proud to be among the recipients of the 2025 King’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade. This milestone recognises its decade-long journey supporting thousands of international students in the UK.
Founded in 2013 with just 30 rooms and a vision to reshape the student accommodation experience, Londonist DMC now operates over 2,000 rooms across 35-plus premium residences in London. From short-term stays to year-long bookings, its flexible tenancies and all-inclusive services help over 170 nationalities settle confidently in London.
The company’s success is rooted in more than just accommodation. It offers 360° support, from airport transfers and aftercare to a multilingual customer service team and a full suite of digital tools that streamline the experience for both students and partners. Its Londonist App, Student Portal, Partner Portal, Management Portal and Ambassador App make everything from booking a room to accessing services seamless and student-friendly, while fostering mentorship, community and real-time communication.
A key driver behind these achievements is its forward-thinking use of artificial intelligence. From supporting customer journeys and boosting sales efficiency to enhancing business intelligence and operational performance, AI plays a pivotal role in how the company scales and serves better and smarter.
With offices in London, Istanbul and Shanghai, and partnerships spanning over 200 educational institutions and agencies, Londonist has grown into a global brand trusted by students, parents and partners alike. Winning the King’s Award for Enterprise represents more than business growth. It celebrates resilience, innovation and a people-first approach – especially during challenging times like the Covid pandemic, where Londonist prioritised student wellbeing and adapted swiftly to global uncertainty.
“This award is a powerful reminder of why we do what we do,” says Asım Erturk, Founder and Managing Director. “It reflects the spirit of every team member, every partner who believed in us, and every student who called Londonist home. As we look to the future, this honour only strengthens our mission: to make London a true home-away-from-home for international students and to continually raise the standard for student living.”
