Forfusion received a King’s Award for Enterprise in the Promoting Opportunity category, recognising its sustained commitment to expanding access to careers in technology through its Civilian Work Attachment (CWA) programme.

Founded in the North East and operating nationally, the North Tyneside-based IT and infrastructure specialist developed the initiative to create structured, meaningful pathways into the technology sector, with a particular focus on supporting Armed Forces personnel transitioning into civilian employment.

The CWA scheme delivers placements across technical and operational teams, underpinned by mentoring and practical experience in enterprise IT environments. It is designed to build capability, confidence, and support progression into long-term roles within the sector.
