Founded in Northern Ireland in 2017, Express Merchants developed Breeze: Procure with Ease® to solve a long-standing challenge within facilities management procurement. Designed specifically for reactive ‘tail-spend’ purchasing, Breeze enables engineers and operational teams to source materials and services quickly whilst maintaining governance, visibility and compliance.

The platform connects users to a network of pre-approved suppliers across the UK and Ireland, allowing purchase orders to be raised in under a minute, with proof of collection or delivery uploaded in real time and linked directly to jobs, sites and contracts.

Breeze was created from first-hand industry experience and developed in direct response to inefficiencies faced daily by engineers, procurement teams and FM providers. By improving efficiency, reducing unnecessary travel, increasing visibility, and enabling independent local suppliers to access large FM supply chains that were traditionally difficult for SMEs to enter, the platform is helping to reshape procurement practices across the facilities management sector.
